The Data Transceiver – Model 3701 is designed for use with data generating devices using Audio Frequency-Shift Keying (AFSK) type modulation systems. The Data Transceivers provide outstanding frequency stability and control.

The Data Transceivers come in VHF and UHF frequency ranges and features 16 programmable channels. Each Data Transceiver has extremely short turn-on time that conserves power in battery operated systems. Multiple functions include 1200 to 9600 baud rates, and AC and/or DC audio coupling. When used in a repeater, the transmit frequency typically is specified as the receive frequency when using the Data Transceiver in an ALERT/ALERT2 Transmitter.

The Data Transceiver, with 16 dip switch selectable channels, is the standard transceiver featured in High Sierra Electronics’ ALERT/IFLOWS transmitters and repeaters. For certain applications, however, other Data Transceivers or technology may be more appropriate. Contact us to help recommend the Data Transceiver solution best suited to a specific situation.
