The Temperature Signal Conditioning Modules – 5720-1X Series convert the Temperature Sensor – Model 5720-00 output to either a 4 to 20 mA or 0.3 to 1.5 volt output. The Temperature Signal Conditioning Modules linearize the temperature sensor output and provides a second order correction to the Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD) typically providing a 40:1 improvement in linearity.
The Temperature Signal Conditioning Modules operate on loop voltages down to 9 volts. Separate zero and span adjustments are available for the Temperature Signal Conditioning Modules and are factory calibrated.
